Are you a DPO in the health sector?
Do you need to demonstrate skills development (Article 38 (2))?
Want to network and stay on top of developing case law?
Then This is Your Network!
The Health DPO Network brings together professionals who are generally in a 'sole role' within an organisation, carrying a great deal of accountability.
Membership benefits include;
Quarterly workshop / networking events covering evolving data protection case law and guidance including consent, subject access and Data Protection Impact Assessment
Ad hoc email advice and support for complex health data protection issues
Quarterly newsletter pulling together the relevant changes and challenges facing health DPOs
Kafico are an information law consultancy based in Brighton and provide DPO services to around 80 GP practices as well as complex integrated / multi-stakeholder projects for Clinical Commissioning Groups, hospitals and healthcare tech companies.
We also work with companies in the US to convert from HIPAA compliance to GDPR standards.
Our consultants are experienced law graduates and specialists in information law who pride themselves on continued professional development in this field.
Recognising that the DPO role can be an isolated position, we wanted to bring professionals together to develop approaches, share knowledge and experience, train and network.
We have been running workshop events for a number of years across East Anglia and are delighted to bring this successful approach to our home county.
“I have found the workshops an invaluable addition to Kafico’s support package. They have good content and allow me to maintain my knowledge of information law whilst connecting with other professionals."
